Hi Raptive,
Still waiting to see how Google’s March 2025 core update settles? We’re right there with you.
As you review your site’s performance, keep in mind that year-over-year data may be impacted by Easter. Last year, Easter fell on March 31, with recipe-related search queries ramping up on March 23 and peaking on March 30.
One clue to this current update is
Google’s updated Search Quality Rater Guidelines, released earlier this year. While these guidelines don’t directly affect rankings, they help shape how Google defines page quality, and this update shows that useful, satisfying content is more important than ever.
No need to read all 181 pages of the guidelines! Our team of SEO experts did it for you and pulled together the most important insights in a new guide in the Resource Center.
Check out
how to improve content quality according to Google’s latest Search Quality Rater Guidelines, to learn what’s new, how it connects to the March 2025 core update, and how to make your content more aligned with what Google—and your readers—are looking for.

A reminder about Raptive’s quality standards
There’s been a lot of buzz and growing concern in the creator community about AI-generated content, especially when it competes with yours for traffic or revenue.
We’ve always been committed to keeping the Raptive network a healthy, high-quality environment where stolen content is not allowed—so here’s
a reminder of our policies and our efforts to enforce and maintain Raptive’s quality standards.
Every site in our network is manually vetted by a human to ensure it meets
our rigorous content and traffic quality criteria, and we don’t approve sites that rely on low-quality or stolen AI content.
Our commitment and review process are ongoing, helping us stay trusted by advertisers and keeping creators’ earnings strong—and you can expect that to continue. You have enough on your plates without worrying that your ad provider is devaluing your amazing work.

How traffic sources and data availability impact RPM
Not all traffic is created equal—and understanding where your readers come from can have a big impact on your RPM. Different sources bring different levels of engagement and data availability, and
those key factors impact how much advertisers are willing to pay.
In this new article in the Resource Center, our SVP of Creator Performance, James Baldwin, explains how your traffic sources like Google Search, Pinterest, and email compare, and how to use the
Performance by Traffic Source report in your dashboard to identify opportunities to boost engagement and earnings.

Smarter email strategies start with testing
“Testing your email tactics for both new subscriber acquisition and existing subscriber engagement is an important part of
