Hi Raptive,
Before you’re off to enjoy Fourth of July parades, BBQs, and fireworks, we have a few exciting things to highlight in this
week’s newsletter. Yes, Google also started rolling out its June 2025 core update this week. But as usual, it may take three weeks to complete, so don’t let it stop you from a long weekend of summer fun.
Instead, let’s focus on these positive updates:
•
Noteworthy news from Cloudflare blocking AI crawlers by default
•
Brand new resources for you about Google Discover and AI
•
Your quarterly reminder to take advantage of our $1,000 referral bonus
•
And this just in! The
end of Google’s Recipe Quick View pilot program!
This article is a gift link—we couldn’t resist sharing the good news with you today. This is a direct result of creator feedback and an important acknowledgement that your voices matter.
What’s new
Cloudflare prioritizes creators and publishers with new AI crawler controls
Cloudflare, one of the world’s largest and best-known content delivery networks, just became the first internet infrastructure provider to block AI crawlers by default.
This means that creators and publishers can decide:
Whether they want to give AI crawlers access to their content
If they do, how AI systems can use that content
It’s a critical first step toward a more equitable internet in the AI era—one we’re proud to support alongside other creators and publisher partners like TIME, BuzzFeed, The Atlantic, ADWEEK, and more. We have been in discussions with Cloudflare for several
months about these plans and will continue to work closely with their team to drive the best possible results for creators and publishers.
Head to the Newsroom to see more details, read the press release from Cloudflare, and get answers to your most frequently asked questions.

Quick tip
Make the latest AI tools work harder for you
“AI tools are evolving quickly, and not all models support your
work as a creator in the same way. Some are great at writing, others at data analysis, or strategic planning. Our new AI model cheat sheet breaks down where
tools shine. Once you know what’s possible beyond ChatGPT, you can also build out a personalized AI prompt pack to streamline your own content
workflows or repeatable tasks.”
