Hi Raptive,
Last week, we shared some highlights from Google I/O, including the launch of AI Mode, Google’s most advanced search experience yet.
We know many of you are already feeling the impact of Google Search’s many changes. Traffic patterns are shifting, and the rollout of AI features is bringing more questions than answers.
But here’s what hasn’t changed: real people still value high-quality, credible content from real humans. That’s where creators have always had the upper edge—and why your voice still matters.
Focus on what you can do right now by creating content that AI can’t replace, sharing your experience and expertise in a way that stands out, and strengthening the connection with your audience, no matter what comes next.
Lean into your lived experience: Share the details only you can—what worked, what didn’t, and what you learned. That kind of insight is what makes readers trust and return to your content.
Answer real questions: Think about how someone might naturally ask a question in your niche and build content around those phrases. The more direct and helpful you are, the more likely you are to show up—and earn a click.
Add value beyond the summary: If AI can summarize it, make sure you’ve added something it can’t: original data, strong opinions, personal stories, or step-by-step visuals.
Double down on connection: Remind readers they’re hearing from you. Use your newsletter, comments, and social platforms to invite conversations and build loyalty beyond Google.
