Google continues to prioritize Core Web Vitals, and platforms like Discover tend to reward fast, responsive, and reliable sites. As browsing habits shift and ad competition increases, page speed and reader experience are key to maintaining strong traffic and revenue. Focus on what you can control to improve performance and drive steadier results. Here’s what’s inside: • How our updated ad code improves performance at scale • Learn how authority drives more consistent rankings • Increase page speed and revenue with a simple fix • See which sites are gaining traction in Google Discover What’s new Raptive sites are seeing stronger speed and performance metrics Over the past year, our ad code team rebuilt Raptive’s ad code from the ground up, one of our most significant updates in six years. The result is faster load times, smoother interactions, and measurable gains across creator sites. We look at Core Web Vitals as Google’s benchmarks for page experience, measuring how fast your content loads and how smoothly your site responds to interactions. Key metrics include: • LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): How quickly your main content appears • INP (Interaction to Next Paint): How quickly your site responds to clicks and taps Today, we’re proud to share that 91% of Raptive sites earn a “Good” INP score and 83% earn a “Good” LCP score, the highest INP and LCP rates of any ad management company measured. (source: http archive Tech Report) Better metrics keep readers on your site longer and drive more pageviews. Strong LCP scores also help your content gain traction in Google Discover, opening new opportunities for traffic growth. We continue to push for better site and ad experiences and keep you updated on our progress. Top resource Branded search is a strong signal of authority Authority is the trust your site earns over time, and one of the clearest signals of that trust is branded search. When people look for you by name and click through, it shows real interest in what you create and helps your content rank more consistently and drive steadier traffic. Google is putting more weight on trust and reputation. Sites with stronger authority tend to hold steadier rankings through updates and get more lift from content refreshes. Focus on building a brand people recognize and return to, and go deeper on the topics you want to own. See how authority impacts your rankings → Quick tip Resize your images before you upload to keep pages fast “If you want faster pages and stronger revenue, start with your images. They’re often the heaviest part of the page, and oversized files slow load times and ad performance. Keep total page weight around 1–2 MB, with images closer to 100–150 KB. Resize before uploading, use WebP or compressed JPEGs, and make sure lazy loading and your CDN are working. Then check the file size that actually loads, not just what you uploaded.” Eddie Mercado VP of SEO Solutions Don’t miss Gaming websites see traffic surge from Google Discover Stay ahead of how Discover is shaping gaming traffic. New insights from Raptive’s EVP of Audience Growth, Tom Critchlow, show a clear shift in how audiences find and engage with gaming content, creating new opportunities, but also raising the stakes for publishers to adapt.
