This time of the year has a funny way of feeling like both the middle of summer and the beginning of everything that comes next, right? You may be trying to soak up the last pool days, backyard dinners, or slower mornings, while also keeping an eye on back-to-school prep, fall content, Q4 planning, Google updates, AI news, platform shifts, and all the other things that seem to land in your lap at once. You’re trying to do what you do best—create great content, serve your readers, and keep your business moving—while still having an actual summer. So this week, we’re keeping things light and easy so you can catch up quickly when you have a free minute. Here’s what you’ll find inside: • Get an inside look at the power of Raptive Community • Turn on Gated Print to grow your revenue and email list • Catch up on top resources and recent webinars What’s new Building community around what your audience already loves Raptive Community is designed to help creators and publishers build deeper, more direct relationships with your audiences by giving fans a dedicated place to connect around the content, questions, and interests they already care about. For Sally’s Baking, that meant creating a space where bakers could do what they were already doing—asking questions, sharing their bakes, troubleshooting mistakes, comparing recipe notes, and cheering each other on. “The Raptive community has become such an important part of my business and how I can connect with my readers, and, just as importantly, how they can connect with each other! It’s grown into a positive, uplifting space for them to gather and chat about baking ideas, mishaps, and breakthroughs. We love it in there!” Sally McKenney Sally’s Baking And while Sally’s Baking is a large, well-known brand, the lesson applies to audiences of all sizes. The strongest communities start with the behaviors your audience is already showing you—and Raptive Community can help give that connection a more intentional home. We’ll continue sharing more examples and ideas as Raptive Community rolls out more broadly in the weeks ahead! Make your TikTok audience count Quick reminder! Comscore is adding TikTok to its social measurement for the first time, which means your TikTok audience can help strengthen Raptive’s Comscore ranking and support more premium advertiser opportunities. To be included, you’ll need to authenticate your TikTok business account for Comscore. TikTok is a separate step, even if you’ve already authenticated Facebook, Instagram, or X, and each account needs to be completed individually. Check the email we sent yesterday for your account details and instructions, then follow the steps to authenticate in a few quick minutes. Authenticate your TikTok account → Top resource Get up to speed before the fall rush In case you missed them, now is a good time to revisit a few recent conversations with the Raptive team. We’ve hosted several webinars designed to help you better understand where traffic, discovery, and monetization are headed—and what you can do now to prepare for the second half of the year.
